Dear colleagues!
October 2023 will mark the 60th anniversary of the Institute of Biomedical problems, which is internationally recognized as the IBMP. Throughout the years, the Institute has become the leading Russian scientific institution in terms of space biomedicine. The IBMP has developed and successfully operates the Medical and Technical Facility that is used as a testing ground for space biomedicine technologies, which will support orbital and interplanetary space missions as well as practical healthcare.
On the anniversary dates, there is a custom to summarize the work done and discuss the prospects for further research and development. For this reason, we are planning to publish a number of books, a special edition of the "Aviation, Space and Ecological Medicine" journal and some information handouts about the IBMP.
However, the main activity to celebrate the Institute's anniversary will be our traditional international conference.
I invite Russian and foreign veterans of space biomedicine and all those who work in this and related fields of science to take part in the conference. I hope that it will be interesting, useful and will make a good memory.
